Tapas has its own story. In bars in the region of Andalusia (Spain), glasses with some alcoholic drink were covered with bread and some snack on it. Spanish surnames.

The Spaniards have two-part surnames. The first refers to father's surname and the second one, broadcast after the mother. Married women don't take their surnames after their husbands. The surnames are often repeated and you can meet a person with the surname Rodriguez Rodriguez. Names, as you can see are not seperated by dashes, but we can find hyphens like "y" (and) or "de" (from). What is more, it is also common to find more parts of surname, which is related to the fact that they carry noble titles.

4.) The national dance of Spain is flamenco.

Flamenco is definitely associated with Spain. This lively and energetic dance comes from Andalusia. Usually on stage you can see a beautiful dancer in a wide dress with frills. She often performs with a partner. They both wear shoes on special heels, making loud noises and tapping on the dance floor. The dance is always accompanied by music performed, mostly on guitar, clapping, snapping fingers and castanets.

An interesting fact about flamenco is that, since 2010 has been on  the UNESCO list of intangible national heritage.
