Spain is a Catolic country, with more than 70 % of Spaniards, which ones declaring their faith. Spaniards don't wear Christmas trees. During fesival of "Navidad" (Christmas), they dress a crib and then, put it in the "patio" (yard of tenement, very popular in Spain). The crib is often precisely handcrafted to create an unusual view. Christmas is celebrated with great pomp and joy. On Christmas Eve the locals go out on the streets, in their folk costumes and organize parades. Next day they meet for dinner, where dominate "jamón" (typical Spanish ham) and everybody shares "turrón" (kind of nougat, reminiscent of halva). What is also worth mentioning is that, during Christmas time children do not recive gifts. The gifts are brought by Three Mage Kings on 6th of January.
